Disclaimer

This is not meant to be some kind of update to Regraded, but rather, sharing my own personal experience and sort of game design I wish to learn while making this - albeit ardous and ambitious - project. No longer just a standard fare of modding on my end, but as a love letter to one of my favorite indie games (As hard as that would be to believe for some) of all time... Baldi's Basics.

History

I'm sure most of you reading this already have a basic understanding of my somewhat recent history with Baldi modding. (I.E Miss Circle's Attack) As such, i will not repeat or attempt to tell the whole story here. Just know as a bonus factoid, i made a mod i was a bit ashamed to have kept up due to the sheer lack of quality in-between BTRLTYED Remastered and Miss Circle's Attack.

You can think of Regraded as a fan-game with how much care and generally divisive decisions I'm going to make with this whole thing. Yes, divisive. You'll see why I say this eventually, but it's no matter. Regraded started it's life as a sort of 2.0 for Vanessa's Substitution Classic... However, I feel as if being a 2.0 would be a general hinderence to actually being something substantial. 

2.0 was started from the ground-up using Duck Makes Stuff's Nearly Accurate BBCR Decompile... Which isn't literally a BBCR decompile, but a sort of coat-of-paint applied to a Classic Decomp that makes it like BBCR, almost everything in the mods and all. 

During the inception of Regraded (when it was meant to be a 2.0), my plans were a bit haphazard in nature... But i do feel as if i've found my footing already with at least 3 of the modes, NULL/Glitch Style equivalent included. Regardless of how and when, i've since started to really do my best to make Regraded something special for long-time Baldi players (quite like myself - even if that's a bit loose.)... 

Closing Thoughts

I do want to make Regraded something special, not just as a passionate love letter, but in general, as something i can learn from and make with later down the line if i so choose to seek a career in... Just making anything that you can play. Games, Mods, ROM Hacks, whatever it may be.
